Install FoundryOps for Google Sheets

Step-by-Step Installation
Open Google Sheets
Start with any Google Sheets document, new or existing.
- Go to sheets.google.com
- Open an existing spreadsheet or create a new one
- Make sure you're signed in to your Google account
Access Add-ons Menu
Navigate to the Extensions menu in the top navigation.
- Click on "Extensions" in the menu bar
- Select "Add-ons" from the dropdown
- Click "Get add-ons" to open the Google Workspace Marketplace
Search for FoundryOps
Find FoundryOps in the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Type "FoundryOps" in the search bar
- Click on the FoundryOps add-on from the results
- Review the add-on details and permissions
Install the Add-on
Click Install and grant necessary permissions.
- Click the "Install" button
- Review the permissions request
- Click "Continue" and then "Allow" to grant permissions
- Wait for the installation to complete
Launch FoundryOps
Start using FoundryOps from the Extensions menu.
- Go back to your Google Sheets document
- Click "Extensions" → "FoundryOps" → "Open"
- The FoundryOps sidebar will appear on the right
Configure Your Account
Set up your FoundryOps account and preferences.
- Sign in or create your FoundryOps account
- Choose your plan (start with Free if unsure)
- Configure your matching preferences
- You're ready to start cleaning data!

Required Permissions
FoundryOps only requests the minimum permissions needed to function. We never access sheets you haven't explicitly opened with FoundryOps.
View and manage spreadsheets
Required to read your data and write cleaned results back to the sheet.
Connect to external service
Needed to process data through our secure matching engine.
Display sidebar
Shows the FoundryOps interface within Google Sheets.
Troubleshooting
Add-on not showing in Extensions menu
Refresh the page and ensure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
Permission denied error
Make sure you're signed in with the correct Google account and have edit access to the sheet.
Sidebar not appearing
Check if pop-ups are blocked in your browser. FoundryOps needs to display a sidebar.
Processing seems slow
Large datasets may take a moment. Free tier has a 100 match/month limit.
